“For good health, every day get out of the house, every week get out of the city, every month get out of Rome.”–a professor of Theology at the Gregorian University in Rome
A friend gave this quote to me over 10 years ago. I have tried to live it, however, with the pandemic I have not been able to “get out of Rome.” I do find “getting out of the city” fun, refreshing and relaxing. I am blessed to have the beach just 15 minutes away by car, and the canyon right outside my door for a walk or bike ride. (Sometimes the weeks fly by, and I don’t even realize I haven’t been “out of the city.” And then I focus, plan a little better, and just do it!)
What can you do to GET OUT OF THE CITY this week? How do you think you’ll feel when you do this? And not to mention your productivity! Our mental and physical HEALTH is of critical importance right now. So, let’s just do it this week! And please share this with others for their good health! Thank you, Joan
